Tragedy Strikes as Ondo Tanker Explosion Kills More Than a Score in Nigeria

The explosion started with a spark from the mobile phone of one of the scoopers who came to the scene.

It was even reported that a pregnant woman who had arrived at the scene with her three children to purchase fuel was also involved in the incident.   The intensity of the explosion caught nearby residents and commuters by surprise and it made escape difficult for the scoopers..
