Ogun State Health Care Centre given “Keke” ambulance, man shares pictures

A man identified as Jamo has taken to Twitter to share pictures of an ambulance tricycle, popularly known as “Keke”, which he claims was given to a health care centre in a village in Ogun State.

Jamo shared the pictures on his Twitter handle on Sunday, expressing his disappointment with the Ogun State government for providing such an ambulance to a health care centre.

He wrote, “Visited a village inside Ogun state and this is what Ogun state government gave a health care centre as Ambulance 🚑!!! Nigeria 🇳🇬 why 🤦‍♂️😭😭”

The pictures have since gone viral on social media, with many Nigerians expressing their disappointment with the state of the health care system in the country.

It is not clear whether the ambulance tricycle was provided by the Ogun State government or a non-governmental organization.

Efforts to get a reaction from the state government or the health care centre in question have been unsuccessful as at the time of filing this report.
