NNEWI, ANAMBRA STATE, NIGERIA – The School of Nursing at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi has officially commenced the sales of admission forms for a three-year General Nursing Training program. The public announcement was made by Dame Aralu, J.C., DDNE/Provost, on behalf of the Chief Medical Director.
Prospective applicants are required to meet the following entry requirements: a minimum of five credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The combination of WAEC/NECO results is allowed, provided it does not exceed two sittings. Applicants with NABTEB results can also combine them with either WAEC or NECO.
The payment for the admission form is to be made through Remita, with a fee of N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only. To make the payment, applicants are instructed to generate a Remita payment reference in favor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. They can then proceed to any bank of their choice to complete the payment, with bank charges included. After payment, applicants are required to return to the Hospital to obtain an official receipt. The designated cash point for receipt issuance is located inside the Zenith Bank branch within the Hospital premises.
Upon receiving the official receipt, applicants must visit the College of Nursing to collect and fill out the admission form. Along with the completed form, applicants must submit a handwritten application addressed to the Provost of the College of Nursing, four passport photographs, and photocopies of their credentials (WAEC or NECO/NABTEB).
